Welcome to Parent Ambassadors Inc. (PAIP)


This blogger site was created with you in mind.  We are Parent Ambassadors!  A group of volunteer parents, grandparents, guardians, and foster care supporters with a desire to be more active in our schools creating sound harmony between teachers and students, showing strong support by forming a safe environment within schools.

To get parents, grandparents, guardians, and foster care supporters to volunteer their time and be more visible in the school districts and educational institution projects through the use of the Parent Ambassadors Involvement Projects.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO BE A PARENT AMBASSADORS?

Parents, Grandparents, Guardians, and Foster Care Supporters referred to the Parent Ambassadors (PAIP Involvement Projects must meet all requirements under the PAIP rules and regulations.




PAIP Rules and Regulations:

  • Have parental wit.
  • Have some experience in the selected group desired to represent as a Parent Ambassador.
  • Be dedicated.
  • Attend all scheduled briefings throughout the school year.
  • Attend all required seminar training sessions.

ABOUT REV./DR. DAVID J. NIXON

David, spent most of his childhood years dreaming of owning his own youth center. After graduating from high school, Nixon attended Jacksonville State University, Jacksonville, Alabama.  He attended Alabama Christian College, Florence, AL, Northwest Shoals Community College-Personal Fitness, Real Estate, United States Army School of Administration, Fort McCoy, Wisconsin, United States Army Signal Corps., Fort Gordon, GA, Atlanta Georgia School of Training, Atlanta, GA., Ivy Tech Community College, and ITT Technical Institute Online.  
Nixon was awarded "Teacher of the Year," at Northwest Shoals Community College, Muscle Shoals, Alabama, for the Alternative School on campus and Community Life Coordinator for on-campus living. In addition, he attended the Michigan National Guard School of Administration in Lansing, Michigan. 

In the early 80s, his dream was to become a free agent to play pro football in Chicago. He became a member of the Central Football League (CFL) Association for certified officials.

In 1999, Nixon opened the doors to his 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization Young Gentlemen and Women 2000.  The YG/W mission statement is to instruct, train, and enhance positive character traits from negative thinking in young people. 
In 2001, Nixon developed a parent involvement program "Parent Ambassadors Inc.," which was created to get parents more involved with their children in Title I public schools through the volunteer parent involvement program.
In 2002, Nixon registered and ran as an Independent Non-Partisan Gubernatorial Candidate in the State of Michigan.  He was the second African American to run in the State of Michigan.
In 2007, Nixon registered and ran as a grassroots Republican Candidate for Mayor in the City of Evansville, Indiana.  He was the first African American to win the primary election in over 109 years.
Nixon is an independent clergymen, affiliated with World Christianship Ministries.  He is  the  founder of a non-denominational Faith Based Organization, "Hebrews, Matthew, Genesis, and Galatians (H.M.G.G.) Ministries." Nixon's Internet blogger site focuses on various topics.  For instance, community involvement, economic development, adult reentry, and enrichment consultation.  Nixon was also the former assistant secretary of the Evansville/Vicinity Baptist Ministers  and Deacons Alliance.  He has volunteered at public schools throughout the surrounding region of Indiana. Nixon volunteered to be the Legislative Chair for Benjamin Bosse High School PTA Committee.  He is a minister, mentor, poet, writer, and speaker. In addition, he is a faith based business consultant, motivational speaker for at risk youth, and supporter of adult reentry.
Nixon is an official member of the American Criminal Justice Association, Lambda Alpha Epsilon.  He has been inducted into the National Technical Honor Society.
After Graduating in March 2014 at ITT Technical Institute Online. Nixon He has been inducted into the National Technical Honor Society for the 2nd time during his educational career. While completing his Bachelor of Applied Science in the Criminal Justice Program of Studies at ITT Technical Institute.  David has completed his MBA Masters Business Administration, and looks forward to continuing his works in communities and throughout the region.

Educational Knowledge: My background career with ITT Tech took form in the year of 2009 during which time I completed my first degree and therefore felt compelled by the positive leadership and support to proceed on to completed my 2nd degree with the institute I have effectively begun the MBA Program in March of 2014 with ITT Technical Institute.
